Mr. Parker is responsible for ceded reinsurance operations of RiverStone U.S. and the Reinsurance Counsel office. Mr. Parker joined the group in 1994 as Counsel and has since served in the role of Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel before assuming his current position in 2006.
Prior to joining the group, Mr. Parker was in private practice at the law firm of Sidley Austin where he represented cedants and reinsurers in reinsurance disputes. Mr. Parker is a founding board member of the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Run-off Companies. He has lectured at numerous conferences including those sponsored by Mealey’s, ARIAS and Strain. He has also taught classes in Reinsurance at the College of Insurance.
