Mr. Bator is the Chief Financial Officer responsible for all of RiverStone’s worldwide run-off operations and has oversight of a variety of finance-related functions including general accounting, reporting, treasury, planning, budgeting, taxation and actuarial. Mr. Bator also focuses his efforts on marketing and new business development. From 2001 through 2008, Mr. Bator served as Chief Financial Officer across RiverStone’s European run-off and in addition to financial related functions, his other responsibilities included oversight of RiverStone’s managing agency at Lloyd’s, former Swedish and French operations, management of a significant claim book and information technology.
Before joining RiverStone in 1995, Mr. Bator spent ten years with Price Waterhouse (Boston and Hartford) as a Senior Manager in the firm’s specialized insurance practice unit with primary focus on property and casualty insurance and reinsurance companies. Mr. Bator also instructed numerous courses on insurance, loss reserving and supervisory skills. Mr. Bator specializes in finding innovative solutions to financial issues.
